Job Description:

Sales Development Representative required by one of the hottest, hyper-growth, soon to go public, pre-iPO vendors of SaaS Financial Management Solutions.  Our client is part of Deloitte Fast 500 and Inc 500 and its solution is used by many of the Fortune 500.

In client is expanding and wants to reinforce the Northern Europe sales teams. They are therefore seeking for an SDR to cover the UK and Benelux region. You will be responsible for nurturing prospects over time, building trust and rapport that result in a sales-ready lead. Prospects are identified through marketing campaigns as well as direct prospecting efforts from the SDR. Interaction with the prospect involves nurturing activities during which resources and other educational materials are offered (no hard selling or closing). This results in a trusting interaction that speeds up the buying process. Throughout the interaction, you record detailed notes and find opportunities to ask qualifying questions. Once the prospect is qualified and the timing is ideal, you introduce the right sales personnel to the prospect and the lead is transitioned to the sales force. 

Your Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform outbound calling activities combined with email (Cold Calls)
  • Building rapport with contacts by offering resources and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process
  • Follow-up on inquiries from marketing campaigns, online ads, direct mail, email, and inquiries to GuideanceSoftware.com, Events and Webinars
  • Gather key information to update the contact information in SalesForce.com 
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities
  • Maintain forecast and reports forecast to manager
  • Enhance product knowledge through regularly scheduled training sessions
  • Attend field sales meetings/trainings as appropriate
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the field sales teams they support
  • Provide qualified sales-ready leads to the field sales organization to further account development/penetration efforts
  • Enter pertinent prospect information into CRM.  Updates and expands as interactions occur. 

You will be successful with:

  • First relevant & successful experience in telemarketing or cold calling
  • First experience in selling Financial Saas Solutions to corporations
  • Graduated with BA / BSc / Master Degree... 
  • Able to communicate technical and business information to widely varied audience via phone and email
  • You are Fluent in English and if you speak Dutch. This is a big plus
  • You are fond of social networks and will love to use those skills to screen and understand the market
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills
  • Must be self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Have a good phone presence and the ability to make numerous phone calls and conversations each day
  • Excellent command of the written English and Swedish language and business writing is required
  • Strong phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify business problems and identify how solutions offered can resolve those problems.
  • Understand the customer's environment and introduces new concepts to solve the customer's problems
  • Effective listener to understand prospect needs
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders
