Copywriter required by my global and market leading cloud-based accounting software client in Newcastle.

As the experienced Copywriter you’ll be responsible for my client’s development and execution of awareness programs, campaign strategies, product marketing, event materials and internal communication initiatives across the UKI region.

Working closely with Creative Director and internal cross-functional teams you’ll bring my client’s brand to life through innovative, creative and engaging content creation. You’ll work hand in hand with stakeholders to establish project requirements and objectives to set out the brand strategies and tone, whilst also being responsible for developing campaign toolkits and managing external agencies ensuring the compliance and high standards of my client’s brand guidelines are adhered too.

Responsibilities/Requirements/Professional Qualifications:

* Excellent Copywriting experience with proven skills in advertising or marketing.
* Solid online portfolio of work (candidates without a portfolio will not be considered)
* Create content for awareness programs, high-level campaigns, product marketing, event materials, internal comms, long-form editorials, and video scripts for customer testimonial and case studies
* Help drive the brand strategy for my client’s products, services, events and partnerships through collaboration with brand insights and other internal stakeholders and senior leadership
* Proven track record creating and managing successful marketing campaigns, video, print, outdoor, digital, and social campaigns – including attending shoots, working with photographers, directors, production companies
* Working understanding of Macintosh work environment and how to use Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint and Word

* Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
* Experience within the financial or banking category would be highly advantageous

* Ability to work in fast-paced and high demand environments
* Work in collaboration with cross-functional internal teams
* Previous experience in an agency or corporate organisation would be preferred
* Exceptional communication skills including presenting to to senior-level stakeholders
* Creative, persuasive and confident approach
* BA or BFA in advertising, writing or equivalent area of expertise
