Field Marketing Manager required by our hugely impressive Global Leading SaaS Software vendor client. As the Manager – Field Marketing & Digital, you will be lead the planning and execution of the marketing plan at the market unit level to support achievement of revenue targets, and ensuring a steady pipeline of opportunities for sales to engage with. You will be responsible for creating awareness & market education, generating demand & help accelerate pipeline for deal closure.

You will work closely with local, regional and global marketing colleagues and hold responsibility for developing market unit specific strategy and execution of integrated marketing programs and campaigns in France. You will also determine the necessary marketing mix – Digital, Social, Events, Campaigns, Influencer Programs – to support the successful execution of the defined strategy.

Marketing Manager Tasks

Developing and executing integrated marketing plans to bring together corporate programs and local opportunities via activities such as targeted campaigns, field events, executive programs, tradeshows, customer references, industry associations and telemarketing. Campaigns to focus on demand generation, pipeline acceleration & awareness / market education.

  • Proactively analyse sales pipelines and consultatively suggest potential marketing approaches to grow and accelerate revenue generation.
  • Recruit and manage customers to support marketing programs, coordinating with account teams and business development as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with peers in the broader Marketing organization to ensure a level of consistency is maintained with all market-facing activities.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport and ongoing communications with Sales Leadership, Account Executives and the broader Marketing organization.
  • Digital & Social Marketing – Leverage digital & social channels for creating a positive engagement experience for Customers & Prospects. Planning digital marketing campaigns, including web, email, social media and display advertising. Responsibility for the French language site include SEO/SEM
  • Market Research & Insights - Understand and define the target audience and its preferences, needs, and challenges. Combine the audience insights with audience intelligence (e.g. data) to build relevant programs.
  • Participate in Strategic Planning - Ensure programs and campaigns are expertly aligned with stated strategic goals.
  • Stakeholder Management - Strongly align with business stakeholders to ensure marketing programs closely align to business and sales goals. Share knowledge and expertise. Support/enable the sales organization through delivery of key campaigns and marketing support.
  • Strategically drive program activation and acceleration within market units.
  • Through others, utilize standard tools and systems to document, communicate, measure, and monitor program plan and facilitate execution to share content and assets.
  • Budget-Management – manage the campaign budget for responsible market units.

Marketing Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, specialization in Marketing preferred
  • Excellent business-orientation and analytical skills combined with a focus on results
  • Ability to work collaboratively and act as ‘One Team’ with other marketing colleagues
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build close relationships with customers and the sales team
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

Marketing Manager Experience

  • Extensive experience of campaign management including all elements of the marketing mix including events, social, digital, tele and co-marketing with partners
  • Experience managing the creation and execution of effective marketing programs, product launches and promotions
  • Relevant B2B software / technology industry knowledge, preferably with experience marketing to procurement and/or finance audiences in global 2000 companies
  • Ability to collaborate and work across virtual teams to achieve combined goals
  • Experience working experience in matrix environment and engaging with global, regional and local sales, marketing and business development teams.
