Business Analyst (Telecoms and Delivery) who has experience of the Telecommunications sector is required by my amazing guided selling platform client in central London on an initial 3 month contract, although extensions are a distinct possibility.You will be an ambitious Business Analyst and will be experienced in the Telecommunications sector. You will be joining my clients small professional services team and will be specifically tasked in becoming a product expert and then take this product knowledge and support the sales process all the way through to conversion, and will translate their business requirements allowing the development team to configure and implement my client’s solution.

The right candidate will have strong technical and logical Business Analysis capabilities alongside an aptitude for interacting with prospects, selling a vision and converting that into reality.

Responsibilities and personal attributes

  • The Business Analyst will be the product expert in sales meetings, lead product demonstrations and supporting early sales conversations to identify a fit between a prospect’s needs and the client’s service.
  • Previous Telecommunications sector experience essential
  • You will engage with the client’s stakeholders, plan and facilitate client meetings /workshops etc. in order to understand and document the business issues of the client.
  • Mapping product features to the client’s business issues thus offering and guiding clients to the best possible solution.
  • Capturing and documenting project specific ‘must-haves’ that are bespoke to clients.
  • Configuring business-rules and business process flows using the clients Configuration Management System in order to deliver demos, pilots, trials and production releases.
  • Understanding the business issues of a client's organisation and having the ability to communicate difficult / sensitive information tactfully.
  • Finding innovative and pragmatic solutions while capturing and documenting product and project specific requirements.
  • Involvement in QA and Testing cycles to ensure features are delivered in line with requirements.
  • To prepare costed technical proposals and respond to RFX’s in support of the sales process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ambitious, driven, self-starting and able to make a difference and get stuck in
  • Start-up experience would be advantageous
